WILL ELM lives in Maryland with his wife and two kids who keep him endlessly busy. There, in a small basement office, he creates worlds full of stories and writes them down. He loves all things fantasy and science fiction but will read books of any genre. He compulsively listens to music, though not while writing or reading, and enjoys cycling and running. When not writing, reading, or parenting he plays board games, explores the natural world, and endeavors to find a perfect cup of tea.You can hear about what he's drinking, current reads, and various other musings on his blog, mastodon, or bluesky.Prior to writing, Will worked as a psychological researcher and obtained his doctorate in psychology. He infuses his understanding of human behavior and personality into his characters and his analytical mind into their pursuits.
